A diagram or "like a Chess knight, but only the two forwardmost moves a Chess knight could make" or something like that might be better. Also, what happens in Jishogi if NEITHER player has 24 points? Obviously, you just drop pieces until you do have 24 points, but I suppose one could organise some situation in which there wasn't time to drop, since other pieces could be captured if you did so. Hmmm...
