The reason being that he changes jobs. He goes to work for a company near Washington DC, where he will develop the "Shogi Deep Thought" on two Connection Machines. Together they have 24000 processors, which should be enough to make a good Shogi program. I want to thank Chris (and I guess I speak for everyone) for all the work he has done for SHOGI-L. The truth is that without him there would not be a SHOGI-L now. I hope he will be back on the net soon and contribute again to the development of Shogi.
