I don't think that anybody really objected to seeing the
Psychiatric Test on this list. It might provoke/induce some reactions.
That is good in its own right since after all this is a discussion list.
To me Go and Shogi are both very interesting games. I find them
less boring than Chess and I don't think they bite each other. My earlier
posting was more or less meant to be a jocular reposte.
There is this famous joke about the Shogi player who was asked how
strong he was and whether he was of "sho-dan" level already (a beginner
is roughly 15-kyu. After rising through the ranks one goes up to 1-kyu.
The next promotion is to "sho-dan" (1-dan) after which you can go up
all the way to 6-dan amateur.). Anyway the answer to the question about
this player's grade was: No I am "jo-dan" (which means "joke").
