Subject: NetWork Problems

Sorry about being out of the net. The International Line between Palermo,
Italy and France has been cut (we have not been feeding the fish). We are
prepairing to use our backup system.
 
1) Being patched to a slow satellite link.
 
2) Activating our TAPENET (dumping large files to a tape cartridge and
   exchanging tapes with France once a day) network.
 
I know that this will be received after the fact, but you will know why
there has not been any postings and why some of the postings took/will take
to long.
 
There are plans for a better network routing system in the future, time ????
