From: GRIMBERGEN KUNPV1 PSYCH KUN NL Date: 30 jul 1990 Subject: Warning WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING 1) I have read the Hodges Price List on the Discussion List. I like to warn everyone that buying from Hodges might be the easiest way but he is also very expensive. Buying your equipment and books directly from Japan may take some time but it the price difference is about 30%. The Dutch Shogi Association orders its Shogi equipment in Japan and can offer its members plastic Shogi sets for Dfl 17,50. (1000 Yen plus P&P). I think this is about 15 DM, 8$, 5# or 12000 Lires. 2) I think the Ishi Press in California is in financial trouble. I have ordered five copies of Shogi World in December and have written three times what happened with the money I mailed in April, but so far I have received no answer. Since I read on the Discussion List that Adam Atkinson has payed as well without receiving anything I like to advice everyone who might be planning to pay the Ishi Press to postpone his payment until all current matters are resolved.
