From: Pieter Stouten EMBL BITNET> Date: 18 jul 1990 Subject: The complete Meijin Title Match 1990 and 2 more games archived. Hi Shogi Fans, Eight new games in the archive. Seven of them submitted by Reijer Grimbergen. Six of them are the games of this year's Meijin Title Match and have therefore been stored as one entity. Game 21 is unique, because it is one of the first four simultaneous modem-to-modem Japan-to-Europe Shogi games. According to Reijer, Game 22 is one of the nicest professional games played during the past couple of months. Meijin Match-90. As usual the games can be retrieved by sending a mail/interactive message/file to LISTSERV@TECHNION, containing the line(s): GET MEIJIN MATCH-90 GET SHOGI GAME21 GET SHOGI GAME22 New subscribers might be interested to know that a file package containing rules and ASCII E-mail board can be obtained by sending a mail/message/file to LISTSERV@TECHNION, containing the line: GET SHOGI PACKAGE I will be on holiday from the end of this week until 12-th August, but don't worry. Upon return, I will add Shogi games to the archive again. Also, don't worry if mail seems to be distributed very slowly by the listserver at technion. I just received a redistributed mail from 5 days ago (!), but comparing what I get with the log file reveals that everything finally reaches its destination. Pieter Stouten embl bitnet>
