From: Ken Aizawa <35C4UB2 CMUVM BITNET> Date: 2 aug 1990 Subject: Tsume-shogi I have a question about the ground rules for tsume-shogi. I received the six problems kindly posted by Reijer Grimbergen, and I have found a solution to one that involves white making a move, black responding leaving white with no useful move to escape mate. Black's response, however, is not a checking move. Is this an acceptable solution, or must the entire sequence of black moves consists of checks ? Thanks, Ken.
